A virtual concert with Jocelyne Baribeau!

AFFNO is proud to present a virtual concert with Jocelyn Baribeau on Saturday, March 27, at 7 p.m. via our Facebook page (Association des Francophones et Francophiles du Nord-ouest; and don’t forget to ‘like’ our page!) The timing of this is perfect, as Baribeau is releasing a new album of music on March 26 entitled “Portraits Volume 1”. Originally from Manitoba, Baribeau’s style includes nuances of contemporary folk mixed with a touch of country-pop. She says that her songs are reflective and honest, and reflect the centre of who she is. Her first album “Entre toi et moi” from 2016 won the award for Francophone Artist of the year at the Western Canadian Music Awards in 2016. This concert is part of our Northwest Festivals weekend (March 26 to 28), and we would like to thank our partners such as the Government of Canada, B.C. Gaming, Black Press, Prince Rupert Arts Council, the city of Prince Rupert, the District of Kitimat, Roy Henry Vickers, Hashmark Film & Photography, Guy Dufresne, CFNR, Bell Media, Shutter Shack, and all of our members! Don’t forget that our AFFNO masks are for sale, call us 250-627-1313 if interested!
