Will Stroet tours the Northwest!

Coming out of the pandemic, AFFNO, alongside our partners and funders, will present a Northwestern tour featuring musician Will Stroet (and his band). The tour will begin at Kildala Elementary, Kitimat, with a day of workshops on Thursday, February 23, followed by a full school concert on Friday, February 24. He will also perform live at the Haisla School. On Saturday, he will present an Early Years workshop inside the Kitimat Public Library, and this show is free and open to the community. His group is also our special guests for the Franco-fun Brunch on Sunday, February 26, at the Hirsch Creek Golf & Winter Club. Then, in partnership with Canadian Parents for French Terrace, Stroet will present two days of workshops at Mountainview Elementary, Terrace, February 27 and 28 before moving on to Smithers. On Wednesday, March 1st, Stroet will visit the new Francophone School (La Grande Ourse) before performing two days of workshops at Muheim Elementary March 2-3. Finally, the tour wraps up with Stroet’s band performing on Hudson Bay Mountain on Saturday, March 4, as part of our Franco-fun Ski Day.
